ReMix250 younger state-player allowance: Up to 2 non-exempt State/Semi-pro players born in 1997 or later may be registered, with only 1 on court at a time.
Age is calculated using 2026 minus birth year, regardless of birthday. Players must also meet the event’s other eligibility conditions.
* Confirm the edition and official team entries: For events admitting both representative and club teams, the tournament-wide title comes from an official State/National/Semi-pro/Pro team entry. A few individually titled players in independent teams do not upgrade everyone. AVC references cover qualifying senior / above-U18 categories. Send BDG your year, category and team if unsure.
Allowance paid specifically for playing = Semi-pro. Monthly playing salary = Pro. These are BDG event-eligibility references; the issued rules and exemptions apply.

How does the under-30 state/semi-professional allowance work?
A team may register up to 2 current or former state/semi-professional players born after 1996, but only 1 may be on court at a time. When substituting, check that both are not on court together. Players covered by the youth or libero exemption are not counted in these limits.
Can you give an age example?
Age uses the year 2026 minus birth year, regardless of birthday. A player born in 1996 is treated as 30 throughout 2026; a player born in 1997 is treated as 29. The state/semi-professional under-30 allowance therefore covers players born in 1997 or later, subject to the exemptions.
How do the youth and libero exemptions work?
Players born in 2008 or later are exempt from the restricted-group age rules and the under-30 state/semi-professional limits. The libero exemption applies to both restricted groups and those limits only while the player plays exclusively as libero throughout the tournament.
Does the 12-player roster mean 12 men?
No. It is 12 players in total, including women. Every on-court line-up must have 6 players with at least 2 women and no more than 4 men. The manager and coach are additional registered roles.
Do foreign players need approval?
No prior BDG approval is required. Non-Malaysian players must register and declare their playing experience and level by 10 December 2026. Declarations are announced and confirmed at the technical meeting. The complete team roster is due by 17 December.
How do I pay?
RM350 per team, non-refundable. Registration opens on 1 November 2026 at 10:00 AM Malaysia time and closes on 10 December 2026 at 11:59 PM Malaysia time. Wait for the opening announcement before paying. Once open, enter your team details, pay the full team fee using the BDG Mix Tournament QR, and upload the screenshot on the same form. No email verification is needed for initial team entry. BDG checks the bank record before confirming a place. Full payment is due by the same 10 December cutoff.
Can men block at the front row?
Men may attack only from the back row/behind the 3-metre line. Men may make a clean defensive block at the front row. Pushing, tipping or dumping at the front row is considered an attack and is not allowed.
What can be protested?
Examples include player eligibility, attire-code violations, player-list violations and illegal substitutions. Eligibility protests must be made before the match starts. Other protests are due within 30 minutes of the match ending. Submit valid evidence and the RM100 deposit to the organising committee.
Will matches be recorded or livestreamed?
The approved notice covers livestreams, recordings and public match results. Managers must share the full Appendix A notice and obtain player consent, or parent/guardian consent for players under 18 when consent is given. A manager checkbox is not a substitute for obtaining consent. Contact BDG about any concern before entry.
Will private player details be public?
Public team/player lists, results and match coverage may show names. IC/NRIC or passport numbers, birth dates, private contacts and payment screenshots are for organiser review, not public display. Appendix A explains purposes, access, consent, retention and participant requests.
Where and when is the event?
Sunday, 20 December 2026, 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM Malaysia time, at RKS Sport Centre, Ara Damansara. Maximum 48 teams. Check-in arrangements and the official match schedule will be announced. Enquiries: +60126343800.
How does sponsorship work?
Interested teams may submit their profiles and requested documents for sponsorship consideration; support may include jerseys or entry fees.
Keep updated through the FAQ
Follow the latest issued rules and official schedule updates. FAQs explain the rules and do not override them.
Can I download my registration and player list?
After submitting your completed player list, use Download team registration PDF (A4) in Manage my team. The private document includes your team name, PIC details and submitted player list. Drafts cannot be downloaded. Submit edits and download again for the latest copy. This form is not a payment receipt or place confirmation.
Do managers need a ChatGPT account?
Register your team and upload payment without verifying email first. To add player details or return on another device, verify the manager email with a one-time code. No ChatGPT account is needed on the public tournament site. Request a new code to return on another device. Only BDG organiser access requires its authorised ChatGPT account.
Can I update my team after submitting?
Verify the registered manager email, open Manage my team, choose your team, edit and resubmit before the player-list deadline. Foreign declarations have an earlier deadline. Save draft stores incomplete details online; it does not submit the list.
Which playing level should I declare?
Declare your highest qualifying past or current BDG playing level. Official State/National representative participation, a company or club playing allowance, a monthly playing salary, or participation in a tournament with a qualifying official team entry can confer a title. Age, youth and libero-only exemptions are assessed separately and do not reduce the level declared.
Which competitions count as National / Pro?
Fixed reference: SEA Games participation is National for BDG eligibility. Qualifying National representation, a monthly playing salary, and the official-team-entry rule also apply. Other competition editions need BDG confirmation before they are treated as a fixed reference.
Which competitions count as State / Semi-pro?
Fixed reference: SUKMA participation is State for BDG eligibility. Qualifying State representation, a playing allowance, and the official-team-entry rule also apply. A higher qualifying personal or tournament level takes precedence.
Which competitions count as Amateur?
Amateur references: MSSM, MAKSAK, MASUM, MASISWA, SUKIPT and National Independent School Games participation alone do not confer a BDG title. A player with separate representative history, a playing allowance or monthly playing salary must still declare that higher level. Other school, university or club cases can be sent to BDG for confirmation.
How do playing allowances and monthly salaries affect my title?
A company or club allowance paid specifically for playing means Semi-pro. A monthly salary paid specifically for playing means Pro. Paying your own expenses, receiving club/university support, or playing against a titled individual does not by itself confer a title; any higher personal history or qualifying official team entry still applies.
When does a tournament give every participant a title?
The tournament-wide rule is triggered by a full official State, National, Semi-pro or Pro team entering as a team. All participants then take that tournament’s highest qualifying team level, even if they play for a different team and pay their own expenses. Official State/Semi-pro team entry means State / Semi-pro; official National/Pro team entry means National / Pro. The same principle applies across tournaments.
Do former national players or individual paid players upgrade everyone?
One or two former State/National players in an independent team do not upgrade their teammates, opponents or the tournament. The same applies to an individual salaried or allowance-paid player. Those players retain their own titles; their presence alone does not make their club an official representative or Pro/Semi-pro team. For example, permitted former national players in Men150 do not make every Men150 participant National / Pro.
Which tournament references are fixed?
SEA Games: National. SUKMA: State. SUKIPT: No title from participation alone. MAKSAK: No title from participation alone. MSSM: No title from participation alone. MASUM: No title from participation alone. MASISWA: No title from participation alone. National Independent School Games: No title from participation alone. Separate higher playing history, direct playing payment and eligibility exemptions still apply.
How are Oversea's Major Tournament entries assessed?
Oversea's Major Tournament entries require confirmation of the edition, category and official team entries. A full official National/Pro team entry gives that edition National / Pro classification for all participants. A full official State/Semi-pro team entry gives State / Semi-pro classification unless a higher qualifying team is entered. Individually titled players in independent teams do not upgrade everyone. This is not a blanket classification of all overseas competitions. Send BDG your year, team and category if unsure.
What do the named tournament references mean?
These are BDG event-eligibility classifications. They do not award or withdraw an official sporting title and do not state that an athlete is ineligible for the competitions named. Existing BDG age, youth and libero-only exemptions continue to apply. The FAQ explains the issued rules; it does not add a separate eligibility condition or override them.
What if my competition or squad is not listed?
For an unlisted/equivalent event or disputed team status, send BDG the competition, year/category, team represented, official entry and relevant playing-payment information. A selection camp or training squad alone must not be assumed to settle participation. Do not infer an official team entry just from players’ past titles or a flag in an event poster. Birth-state does not establish playing level.
Why did my player list not submit?
Submit requires at least six complete players, valid IC/passport details, unique jersey numbers, event eligibility and the consent confirmation. Read the numbered errors. Use Save draft for an incomplete list. Jersey 01 and 1 are the same number.
Will my unfinished player list survive a refresh?
Use Save draft to store the list online, then return with the same manager email. Unsaved changes are not kept after leaving the page. Player details are not stored in the browser’s local storage.
How many substitutes and liberos?
As in Men150: eight normal substitutions per set. Entry and return count separately, with paired re-entry restrictions. Up to two liberos within the maximum 12 players; only one libero on court.
